heart transplant, inspirational story, organ transplant
My fiancé is a ground crewman for a local FBO in Hillsboro, Oregon and they are the primary servicer for the Organ transplant team in the Northwest region. It services flights with organs coming from Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Northern California. He will come home from work occasionally and talk about the flight they had to accommodate for the day because an organ was transported and how he’s always amazed at how quick everyone is when the plane hits to ground. Very cool to hear this side of transplantation teams- they often don’t get much recognition but transport is an important part of giving that secondary gift of life.
Lisa, thank you for that beautiful comment. I share it will everyone. So many people that work behind the scene we never think of. How all is well with you.
