Anything is possible
heart transplant, inspirational story, organ transplant
On my last post, I posted a video about the hero's that transport the life saving organs to the thousands of people who are on the organ transplant list.
If we could share this post with the transplant community, and help us remember all the people that are behind the scene, the ones we never get to say "Thank You" , for their commitment, dedication and courages work they do.
Lisa Brackney posted this in the comment section on my blog, I felt it was important to share. Thank you Lisa, for the beautiful comment.
**** My fiancé is a ground crewman for a local FBO in Hillsboro, Oregon and they are the primary servicer for the Organ transplant team in the Northwest region. It services flights with organs coming from Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Northern California. He will come home from work occasionally and talk about the flight they had to accommodate for the day because an organ was transported and how he’s always amazed at how quick everyone is when the plane hits to ground. Very cool to hear this side of transplantation teams- they often don’t get much recognition but transport is an important part of giving that secondary gift of life. ****
Incase you missed it, here it is again. Pass this on to our transplant community.
