Anything is possible
heart transplant, inspirational story, organ transplant
Yesterday Lauren and I had a road trip to Boston. They are keeping a close eye on Lauren's heart since her episode in June when her heart went into heart shock. Her heart hasn't recovered at the rate the doctor's would have wished. Yesterday was a biopsy and they were checking the pressures in her heart.
After her procedure, we had an appointment in clinic. It looks like Lauren is putting fluid on, her pressures were little high. For a brief moment during our visit, I thought they were going to admit her. They decided to up her torsimrine, to help her body get rid of the extra fluids. I feel like I am on egg shells this morning, hoping it will take care of the issue. Also we get her biopsy results today, praying for a negative reading.
There is talk about re-listing Lauren on the heart transplant list. On Wednesday, that is when the transplant team meet to discuss the plans. I am praying and praying Lauren's heart will get stronger.
The title is feeling blessed, for the reasons we are HOME. Woke up in my own bed. Made myself a coffee in my jammies, little things I don't take for granted.
Will update, when we know more
Enjoy your day
