Anything is possible
heart transplant, inspirational story, organ transplant
The last couple of days have been rough, Lauren somehow caught a cold. Lauren started coughing a couple of days ago, and all stuffy. The hospital really jumped into action. They swabbed her sinuses to check for the flue, swabbed her throat to check for strep, did extra blood work, everything came back negative. So the final diagnose is Lauren has a cold. So I pulled out my trusty Vicks vapor rub and Lysol. We asked the doctor's if this would put a hold on Lauren receiving a heart and kidney, and thank God they said no.
Also we found out that their was a match for Lauren for a heart, but unfortunately the kidneys we not good. They had to pass. The heart and kidneys have to come from the same donor.
Sometimes I sit and think why is this all happening again? In my heart I know God has a plan for all this, but I would love to know now. Was there a lesson in life we didn't learn the first time around?
