If you love romance novels, this is a MUST READ! I could not put it down. I read it in one night - even though the next day was going to be a busy one, my mind wanted more! The characters are so well developed and feel so real, with real emotions, thoughts, and reactions that I felt I knew them. The letters written by a forever gone grandmother are so real and moving that I could not stop the tears long after the pages had been flipped. Maybe because of my own loss, Anya Stassiy verbalized emotions I had not yet been able to put into words. I found myself going back to read certain passages just for the pleasure of getting to feel those emotions again. It truly leaves you wanting to read what happens next. So well written, and comedic relief is so well placed, I found myself laughing and crying at the same time. Now, when is the last time a book made you do that ?!? Keep them coming Anya Stassiy!!!
*****5.0 out of 5 starsI still believe in love.

About the Author:
Antoinette Truglio Martin is a speech therapist and special education teacher by training but is a writer at heart. She is the author of Famous Seaweed Soup, and was a visiting author in schools for several years. She was formerly a regular columnist for Parent Connection (In A Family Way) and Fire Island Tide (Beach Bumming). Personal experience essays and excerpts of her memoir have been published in Bridges (2014), Visible Ink (2015), and The Southampton Review (2016). Martin proudly received her MFA in creative writing and literature from Stony Brook Southampton University (2016). As a stage four breast cancer patient, she does not allow cancer to dictate her life. She lives in her hometown of Sayville with her husband, Matt, and is never far from My Everyone and the beaches she loves.
Antoinette Martin believed herself to be a healthy and sturdy woman―that is, until she received a Stage 1 breast cancer diagnosis. Cancer is scary enough for the brave, but for a wimp like Martin, it was downright terrifying. Martin had to swallow waves of nausea at the thought of her body being poisoned, and frequently fainted during blood draws and infusions. To add to her terror, cancer suddenly seemed to be all around her. In the months following her diagnosis, a colleague succumbed to cancer, and five of her friends were also diagnosed.
Though tempted, Martin knew she could not hide in bed for ten months. She had a devoted husband, daughters, and a tribe of friends and relations. Along with work responsibilities, there were graduations, anniversaries, and roller derby bouts to attend, not to mention a house to sell and a summer of beach-bumming to enjoy. In order to harness support without scaring herself or anyone else, she journaled her experiences and began to e-mail the people who loved her―the people she called My Everyone. She kept them informed and reminded all to 'hug everyone you know' at every opportunity. Reading the responses became her calming strategy. Ultimately, with the help of her community, Martin found the courage within herself to face cancer with perseverance and humor.
5.0 out of 5 starsInspirational and funny- a must-read memoir for everyone diagnosed or connected to someone with breast cancer
*****Hug Everyone You Know is a must read for any woman diagnosed with breast cancer. Friends and family should read it as well. It is an honest, inspirational at times humorous account of Antoinette’s journey with her diagnosis that provides insight into her medical treatments and the emotional impact on her “everyone” and herself. Health care professionals in related fields would also benefit from this first-hand account of Antoinette’s experience. I highly recommend this book.
5.0 out of 5 starsAwesome Book for Anyone!
*****I was intrigued from beginning to end!
Having very little knowledge about breast cancer myself, I was taken through from beginning to end all of the different ways it affected the author throughout the process and reading the voices of loved ones in between the narative directly from their emails. I could feel every emotion.. it was so well written.
No matter who you are, I recommend this book.. it really gives further appreciation of the simple things in life and everyone you know (and you'll want to hug them ;-)

To Dance in the Glen
"Conjures up the historical period evocatively and authentically" -- Harlequin "There is much we enjoyed about the novel, especially the rich historical detail" -- Harper
Meg, a poor crofter's daughter, finds her life taking a tumultuous turn when she is sent to the Laird's castle for her own safety. English marauders, accusations of witchcraft, and treason are just the beginning for her.
Meg Lachlan is certain of her place in her clan. When English mercenaries plaguing the Scottish Highlands aim their attacks on Clan MacLeod and Meg herself, the Laird's son takes up the mantle to protect the young woman.
Ewan MacLeod believes that bringing Meg to the castle will guard her against the English attacks, but when he finds his passions for the young lass growing, they begin a love affair that many call into question -- most notably the daughter of a nearby laird who has her sights set on Ewan for herself.
As Meg and Ewan struggle against accusations of witchcraft, the English step up their onslaught, and it seems the clan is beset on all sides, until the discovery of a traitor in their midst threatens to tear down all that Meg and Ewan have worked so hard to build.
With the security of their clan, their families, even themselves at risk, can they rise above all the challenges that stand in the way of their love?
Bonus: This version contains an excerpt of the second in The Glen Highland Romance series -- The Lady of the Glen.
